6 of my friends and I are planning our annual trip to atlanta where we rent an airbnb and go to the amazing nightclubs there. Even without girls it is fun as hell. We all had dinner this week to plan the trip, and the alpha of our group says to me "Mike, your going to get some pussy during the trip, what you need to do is go up to a bitch and say you are a wall street broker visiting for the weekend". I don't think people overrate Stevenson's power, he definitely has a scary-ass left, but they overrate his ability to land that left hand and I think Jack is too smart to run into it. I expect a decisive points win for Jack or a late stoppage, perhaps just a flat out KO if Stevenson's age has REALLY caught up to him.
We'll see though. I'm just excited af to finally see Stevenson in a competitive matchup in lord knows how long. We might finally see the LHW lineal title change hands.

Naaah, Mares is shot to shit, to be completely honest, I really don't care about LSC-Mares 2 because the first fight was meh to me and barely competitive. LSC and Mares were great at bantam but I will never forget the way they ducked Rigo a few years ago.

I don't think so. Didn't the Bute fight not happen as a result of Ward's legal issues? And the reason the Stevenson fight didn't happen is because Ward asked for more money than Stevenson, Showtime, or HBO could reasonably offer since he didn't want to fight for less than he fought Kovalev for.
I can't even see why he'd be scared of them either tbh. Like you said he handled Dawson easily, its proven that his style still prevails in a lefty righty matchup with that fight, and while Dawson wasn't a huge puncher it's worth mentioning that he is a big guy in comparison to Ward, which is what made Ward's dominance in that fight a bit surprising to me.

If his plan was to wait until old-man Stevenson got tired it was a really stupid fucking plan that backfired horrendously. You just don't willingly give up rounds in Boxing period and we saw why.

My old man said the exact same thing. Jack was too afraid of the power in the opening rounds, as soon as he realized he could just walk around the left hand he started having success. I think he can take this one in the rematch. But afterwards, what's next? Due to the network disputes, they aren't fighting Kovalev or Bivol. I guess Marcus Browne will be in line for a shot.
