I'm odd in many ways, but what even I find odd about myself is how I alternate between very happy and content about being an incel and very miserable.

A while ago I realized that even more than our thoughts, we are actually our emotions. I used to think that what we think is who we are, but I found that my thoughts are often unreliable, very dependent on one other thing - emotion. As rational as one thinks they are, everything is actually influenced by mood.

And I believe this is relevant to us incels because most of us lead a quite miserable life, at least in our own subjective view. And perhaps if we found a way to control our emotions, moods and create a better environment for ourselves that can improve our moods, perhaps then we can live a better life, in spite of the huge debuff applied to our happiness by the lack of female affection.

Interesting concept.

Emotions seem to have motion and energy while thought seems to be more of a tool. Emotions are like the hands needed to use the tool.(?)

Motivation requires a positive mood. Hope for a future. Without a future hope motivation dwindles.

I believe in the multi layered person. Perhaps emotions are a core layer?
