No hair for your face nigga mine is grown out 7 and a half months or so and it takes a long ass time for it to dry, you have to wipe your hair in the correct direction preferably with a blow dryer rather then just flail the towel over your hair like an ape when you have short hair or it will stick out on the sides or look messy, can't use product to tame it, have to comb your hair in the shower and use conditioner.
My mom says it looks better then my old hair which she said "made me look like a lust murderer", my brother said "You look like you are about to join a pride parade" and my father "The only thing missing is the violin" so a mixed bag but i'd rather look like some weird homo then a criminal like I do with short hair go for it.
