For context, I just read this reply by @Runt171 on some random thread in the bunker. He says,
He spends lots of time taking care of his teeth, brushes twice a day, and yet they keep getting worse?
Our ancestors didn't have this issue, so what's the deal now?


While its true that maintenance is very important to keeping your teeth intact, sugary food and even things like seeds or bread will fester mouth bacteria, contributing to severe decay due to the carbohydrates breaking down into sugars and forming plaque.
This also makes sense from a timeline perspective, since humans only started to eat seeds like wheat on a mass scale roughly 10,000 years ago.
Compared to the 300,000+ years in which Homo Sapiens have existed on primarily meat and bone marrow, this is a dietary development that our bodies logically couldn't have adapted to properly, and any child raised off of a diet that doesn't consist of natural, meaty food will not develop properly.
For example, Native American children who usually ate game and uncultivated fruit before being exposed to modern diets also suffered from severe tooth decay after only a short period of time. Their heads became a lot more narrow as generations passed despite what their parents looked like, and their teeth began to grow in weird ways as well.
But wait a second, did you pay attention to that skull? And the ones from before? Those natural dudes are moggers compared to the average guy who ate cafeteria food and mcdonalds as a kid...
Now I'm not going to lie and say that you could change your bones or jawline off of anything like a diet change as a grown ass man, but the idea that your jaw or your teeth are defined by your genes is just a half-truth. Closer to a quarter-truth actually. But I do understand how someone would be misdirected in their assumptions if they didn't know a lot of this stuff before.
But that's not exactly the message I originally wanted to give out anyways. Take care of your mouth for now on by STILL BRUSHING YOUR TEETH, cutting out seeds, tracking your sugar intake, and if you ever ascend, feed your child real natural food after they stop breastfeeding.

My dentist always told me I need to brush better But I don’t even see how I have been doing it wrong
I take my time Brushing them despite hating doing it but I see other people brush and they completely rush it and they still have healthy teeth
