Selfie deaths are the modern day nacissus shortly explained if you don´t wanna read the wiki page it´s a Greek story about how the man Narcissus saw his own reflection in the pool of water and fell in love with the reflection of himself he was so obsessed with his beauty that he fell in the water and drowned trying to touch his reflection.
Doesn´t it sound famliar? All the selfie deaths we hear about all the time especially young girls who end up dying for the vanity of a selfie they are so in love with their looks that they seek further validation sometimes taking pictures in dangerous places or simply don´t even notice the situation they put themselves in and end up falling down a cliff, balcony, get hit by a train etc. while they are fully immersed in the reflection on themselves on their screen.
