Modern console dashboards are a bit boring?

Like, back in the day we had so many cool interfaces on consoles. Some of the best ones I can remember are the 360 one towards the end of its life was amazing, also the Wii U one was very nice.

Amongst the older machines I thought the Saturn, Dreamcast and Gamecube had some really nice dashboards. The original Xbox too although maybe a bit overkill on the green!

I'll share a vid of the 360 one I mean as I think this is one of the best.

Yeah, older dashboards mog the modern ones. I liked the original 360 dashboard. It was very simple, streamlined, easy to navigate, and looked pretty good. Also the part where you can view your friends avatars on the 360 was pretty darn cool, I don't think we'll see anything like that again.

One of the main reasons why I chose the ps4 over the Xbox one in 2013 was because of customization. Now Sony almost completely ditched it and I’m very unhappy

Absolutely. The older titles were way better. I remember hoping on my DS with that really cool screen "shake" feature.

Oh hm. When I saw it it looked less polished but was also "busier".

I liked the PS3/PSP ones and the first version of XBox360. The metro one and onwards look like one big commercial, no soul at all.
