This is what happens when you mass-produce anime to meet specifications instead of focusing on production quality. There's a strong correlation between the advent of isekai and the affective and sexual misery of young people. Producers are adapting to an audience that wants to take refuge in a fictional universe to forget their everyday worries.

There's this, but also the growing success of the Japanese animation industry, which has enabled it to broaden its audience and reach foids and normies. Unfortunately, we won't be seeing any more anime dealing with controversial and taboo subjects, or highlighting the limits of some of our preconceived ideas, because they wouldn't want to offend consumers.

the only reason why anime is good, is because anime is an ethnostate. Put too much diversity, fags, and normies that need a self-insert and it turns to shit. Movies should just focus on stories that involve one race at a time, unless the movie is explicitly about racial conflict. Because source material was written by a boomer so in reality it's oldschool manga that got transfered into the anime. I remember he was supposed to make that same anime over a decade ago but they didn't let him. Modern animes doesn't even have much of the fanservice, plot and girls are damn plain. Light novels should be burned in hell for so much damage it caused to the anime industry.
