At 15 you will start to develop feelings for a girl in your class, and she will reciprocate. She reciprocates because it's natural, that's what teenagers do, they find each other attractive and they have sex. At 15, you will have lost your virginity.
You will be invited to a lot of parties with people from your year who you don't really know well but that's okay, you have friends to hang with. At these parties you will drink alcohol and smoke weed and this is okay because you're young. It's just what teenagers do. These moments will one day become good memories of your youth and will be regarded as the best time of your life.
You will carry on your relationship with the girl you hooked up with when you were 15. You will go on dates, you will take her shopping, you will laugh, you will argue, you will have more sex. You will break up with your girlfriend and you will be devastated for a while, but oh well, life goes on.
You start going to the gym when you are 17 because you figure girls are attracted to men with muscles. At 18 you have an imposing stature, and picking up girls has never been easier for you. You start having sex multiple times per week and life is good for you.
Then you realise that none of this has ever happened to you. You have never had a secret teen romance, you've never had sex, no girl has ever found you attractive. You engage in substances, but not in the way normal people do. You drink to alleviate the pain the world has caused you, you smoke weed to feel happy momentarily. You have missed out on everything normal people do when they are teenagers, there is no "first time" for you, because it has never happened, and it won't ever happen. The window of opportunity has passed and we will never get that time back again. The moment you leave school and university without ever having had sex, you are aware that it will never happen, not naturally anyway. You missed the starting gun.
