A couple have been arrested by police this week who allege the woman has sexually assaulted the family's dog while her partner recorded it - multiple times.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office said Samantha White, 26 had participated in sexual intercourse with her family's dog on multiple occasions. Her 29-year-old husband John White reportedly recorded the sexual activities. Authorities said Samantha will be facing charges connected to the sexual intercourse she had with the animals while John will be punished for recording pornographic images or videos of an individual and an animal involved in a sex act.
Lee County Domestic Animal Services took four pooches into custody and evaluated them for any injuries. The dogs are currently in the care of the Lee County Domestic Animal Shelter. Fort Myers police said the investigation is ongoing after they arrested the couple on February 15.
This comes months after a Mississippi woman was arrested after she recorded herself having sex with a dog and subsequently posted it to social media.
Danise Frazier, 19, was involved in a collision in Myrick, Mississippi a week prior and was photographed on the side of the road with a leashed german shepherd by her side. The woman was charged with unnatural intercourse and aggravated cruelty to an animal and could spend up to 10 years in prison if convicted, according to law enforcement officials.
A concerned resident had tipped cops off of Frazier's abuse after they came across the disturbing pornographic video online, which seemingly turned the stomachs of many police officers involved. “In my 17 years in law enforcement, this is one of the most disturbing cases that I’ve ever investigated,” said Sgt. J.D. Carter of the Jones County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman argued that she was "threatened" to go through with it and she makes money off the videos. Police said there was no evidence of coercion. Carter said one of Frazier's videos, which he says were taken between February 23 through 28, seemed to occur in a jeep at the Freedom Baptist Church parking lot in Myrick.
Authorities believe Frazier had sex with other animals, including a German shepherd, and recorded herself in the act, according to the affidavit. Law enforcement officials drew the speculation from one of Frazier's videos, which showed three separate dogs that are now in custody and getting medical treatment.
Sex acts with nonhuman animals, or bestiality, have long been prohibited in the US.
