Imagine that other people are mirrors and how they respond to you, positively or negatively, constitutes the quality of your reflection. If they respond to you positively, through them you can self-admire. If they respond to you negatively, through them you can self-hate.

When an incel who has been rejected and chastized (explicitly and implicitly) goes on a shooting rampage, even without the inevitable suicide and incarceration, it is essentially an act of self-destruction inasmuch as he's destroying reflections of himself by destroying other people. It is synonymous with smashing mirrors which show a reflection that displease him for revenge and so self-consciousness can be soothed.

There's an impetus in bluepill morals to see the best in other people to a delusional extent for this reason. When one looks into the mirror and makes every excuse for their poverty-stricken reflection, it is to the benefit of the unexceptional majority so their ugliness and what it means for their lives does not fully enter their awareness or become too articulate. You must see the best in other people in order to see the best in yourself. Though this cope goes both ways, many incels also question the validity of roastie standards to free themselves from the pain of seeing themselves for what they really are. Wow this is really insightful. Never thought of it that way. The society we experience is a reflection of, largely, our looks. So when we destroy that society, we are destroying what society is telling us we are. In a way, the shooter is creating a different society, and is asserting his dominance; he is asserting his ability to create a society of his own choosing. No more will this society merely be a reflection of himself; after the incident, the society will be one he has created.

So when we destroy that society, we are destroying what society is telling us we are. In a way, the shooter is creating a different society, and is asserting his dominance; he is asserting his ability to create a society of his own choosing. No more will this society merely be a reflection of himself; after the incident, the society will be one he has created.

Incel shooters don't create a new society, they indulge in a feeble, short-lived and self-destructive revenge against life and themselves. It is possible to do what you're suggesting, but incel shooters are not doing it.

so incel shooters realised that they got stuck in a reflection limbo where they will always be seen as lowest of the low no matter what they do, most people cope by alterng the reflection by either becoming oblivious about others perception of themselves or try and alter it through self improvement.if you come to realisation that there is no hope of changing the image people have of you, you will try and destroy it all together either through apathy or direct measures.
