For those of you who don't know, the economy has never truly recovered since the 2008 recession. The unemployment rate has waxed and waned, but that's a misleading statistic since it doesn't account for many people who don't qualify for unemployment benefits for one reason or another. The real statistic to go by is the labor participation rate...but that has not fully recovered since 2008. I can tell you that getting a job before 2008 was MUCH easier. I remember riding my bike to a fast food joint, filling out a tiny application, then got interviewed on the spot while I was wearing baggy ass jeans and a basketball jersey, and I got the job. Now even when you apply for a fast food job, you fill in the application, wait, get your first interview with a manager, then if you're one of the "lucky" ones to make it to the next step, you get a second interview usually with the general manager, but sometimes even with the regional manager or owner. Not only that, but a lot of these jobs are now starting off everyone part time, it's a privilege to get to be full time flipping burgers. The place I work at is now like that, all the new employees are part time, and a lot of them are hungry for more hours. There was a brief moment during covid where it was somewhat easy to get a job, but anyone telling you there is a "labor shortage" is willfully lying or a complete retard.
Obviously boomers are the ones to blame for this. It was them, their policies, and their politicians that got us into this mess. And of course the same boomers that fucked us over economically tell us to pick ourselves up from our bootstraps, blah blah blah, you know what I'm talking about. Meanwhile they benefitted from a great economy provided to them by the generation before them ("ww2/"greatest" generation). But unlike the ww2 generation who sacrificed so much for the baby boomers....boomers pulled the ladder behind them.
Meanwhile the dating scene is an absolute NIGHTMARE for even normie/decent single millennial men. Not only do we have to compete with wealthy guys our age to date middle aged single moms, but we also have to compete with ZOOMERS. So many zoomers at my job are dating women my age (i'm late 30s). I also know plenty of zoomer guys who have slept with married millennial women, literally cucking millennial men. Zoomers worship and fetishize women my age, and many are chasing after them. Not only are these zoomers younger (and thus have better skin, more hair, more collagen, etc.) but they're also of a superior genetic stock due to hypergamy, which is why they're taller and better looking on average than my generation. So we have to face crazy competition for women our age, and dating women in their 20s isn't an option since women in their 20s REALLY hate older men who approach them. I've heard women in their late 20s say it's creepy for a 30+ guy to hit on them.
And to add insult to injury, millennial men are cucked even in their attitude. Every other generation goes on about how great they are. Boomers and gen x talk about how great they were. And zoomers talk about how their generation is either "based" with older generations being "cringe", or they're patting themselves on the back for being more woke and inclusive than the backwards "boomers" (which just means anyone older than zoomers). But millennials not only have ZERO generational pride, we actively engage in this lame ass self-deprecating humor about how lame and cringe we are.
TL;DR: Millennial men were cucked economically by boomers, and (literally) cucked by zoomers in the dating market. We are eternally cucked.

Man this is very relatable. The economy is garbage and they try to trick us (and succeed for many people) into thinking it’s not that bad with numbers like the CPI that say inflation is only a few percent when meanwhile FOOD prices are clearly up at least over 20% depending what you look at in the last few years. That’s FOOD not some kind of luxury, it’s what we need for sustenance. Don’t get me started about housing too.
