I've always hated vigilantes and hero types for this same reason. Men who want to be heroes are just looking for a reason to kill / fuck up someone.

Their worldview is predicated on the notion that people (men in particular) have too much freedom and that due process and "innocent until proven guilty" are bad. They don't think we're putting enough men in prison. In their ideal world (which is coming sooner than you think) people are put in prison for saying edgy jokes or engaging in wrongthink. They want a feminist version of a militant police state. An intersectional version of 1984.
