100% army tradition, u mirin?
one jap regiment can hold off like 10 Ming rice peasant regiments. 5% discipline +10% morale of army’s, plus daimyo and japan itself get a shit ton of army tradition buffs so you start out with 100% so you get that all off the bat before you even do anything, and then you go quality ideas which is cheap through shinto’s isolation mechanics, and u beat every1’s asshole in. Bonus points if you spawn colonialism because you’re right next to america so you have tech advantage
