Metal Bringer is pretty neat if you like mecha and roguelikes

You start only with just tiny robot and only get teased with big mecha for the first mission (cutscene where they destroy each other so you can pick whatever you want) then you will have to try to kill smaller mechs and steal their parts temporary till you get blueprints which will let you create your own customizable mech, same can be said about their weapons. Each part has durability so you can't just rush and not replace them after encounters.
It's a shame that only indie or AA Japanese games can still create something new.

Well rougelikes were mostly done by westerners so it doesn't surprise me. Megaton Musashi W had rougelike mode but it was pretty barebones and not linked to the main mode.

New location unlocked and my cannon head mech is pretty op. Shame about low dmg against larger mechs maybe they have resists against explosives? I dunno.

1.07 patch just fixed issue with targeting and not hitting enemies that were too small for your mech nice. So ranged is not more viable instead of being ultra annoying to use.
