Walking is for people with social life. They walk in groups and discuss things on the go, you can't talk if you're running. Since I'm an outcast and don't talk with people I don't need to walk, because when I go from point A to point B getting there is my only task, and to do it most effectivly I run instead of waking. This also makes me feel like a videogame player character while everyone else is NPC, strange feeling. Anyway, when I was in college, I was constantly running on campus whenever I needed to get somewhere and it could save me even a miniscule amount of time (like, I wouldn't run to the next lecture to get there at 12:00 instead of 12:05 when it starts in 12:10 anyway, but I would run in breaks to the cafeteria to have a lunch early so I wouldn't have to have it after classes therefore saving some time go home earlier). I also wasn't sweating because where I live it's cold literally all the time expcept summer and we don't study at summer, so I ran with no jacket on so the cold temperature evens out the heat generated by my body and therefore I don't get hot nor cold and don't sweat. So you could imagine how it looked. Everyone else is walking around in jackets while I'm the only one running with only my shirt on in a cold northern hemisphere winter. Of course I was made fun of for that, but at that point in life I had enough of shit from normies to stop caring about their opinions. Some people genuinely asked me why I do this, and when I explained all of this to them, they didn't have any counter points, but still called this a weird behavior and deemed this funny. I still do this, and I never see people outside running unless they're doing it for sport or being late to the bus, etc. It's just me. And I also get a these unnerved looks from strangers when I run past them. I try to overtake people who go in the same direction with me as much from the side as possible to not scare them and to not make them think I chase them or want to jump them, but even with that effort I still get creeped out reactions. Once a foid literally jumped and screamed in fear when I ran past her. So, anybody else do that?
