We all know the OKCupid study, where women wrongfully rated 20 percent of men as the attractive. Men however, were far more lenient to the average women and rated them on a bell curve. This undeniable fact is often retorted by the belief that women put more effort into appearance than men do. While that is true, it should be that way. Men aren't supposed to be attractive, they are strictly functional.
In a traditional society, women had to be attractive, and men had to be useful. There were periods of time in the past where women were mostly not allowed to work for money. How did this change? The Equal Credit Opportunity Act of 1974 gave every American woman, married or not, the right to open her own bank or credit account, granting women financial independence. This is why so many boomers were able to find their partners, despite being ugly themselves. Of course, a large chunk of this site still wouldn't have ascended because they're greaseballs who never had a job, but the majority of us probably would have. In the past, men were valued by their resources, and women by their beauty.
That is how things worked until the advent of the internet, giving women the ability to turn them into the worst versions of themselves. Men don’t, and shouldn't have the luxury of covering up our natural skin and contouring with just the right eyeshadow or other fakeup. And the men who do try looksmaxxing and fakeup, are faggots. Looking beautiful simply isn't a man's job, that's for a woman to do. Today, women are the selectors of men, creating many inequities in the dating market. The only reason this happened though, is because society allowed it. Women didn't win their fight for their rights, they were given rights by capitalists looking for more slaves. Our situation is not that hopeless though, because when civilization collapses, these laws and norms turn to dust.
The OKcupid study proves why women shouldn't control beauty standards, and why they shouldn't have financial independence. A world in which men are the selectors is simply one that makes more sense. What doesn't make sense is why women are so afraid of a world like that. All women will be chosen by a man, because men see all women as beautiful.
