Its not natural to be obese. Look at some noted anthropologists that have worked on the Andaman islands and have studied locales for decades. They live a hunter-gatherer lifestyle; fish, cocunuts, crabs, fruit, the odd goat meat and tinned good introduced. The women's weight remained stable from post puberty up until their late 40's and early 50's. Only between 50 > 65yo was there a gain of 9% bodyfat on average, or about 22lbs. People only got a little bit fat (but not obese) with older age to protect them a little bit (extra preserve). This is how all our ancestors would have been.
