Men in red Mini hurl homophobic abuse and rubbish at couple in Cheltenham

Men in a red Mini Cooper convertible are being sought after they shouted homophobic abuse at a couple in Cheltenham. One of the offenders also threw items of rubbish at the victims before the car drove off.
Gloucestershire Police are now appealing for witnesses following the incident which happened on Sunday, May 26. The victims were walking on the Promenade at around 9pm when the car slowed down alongside them.
Police said four men in the car shouted abuse before one of them threw rubbish. The men in the vehicle were all described as being white and in their late 20s or early 30s.
Both victims were left shaken but uninjured by the incident. Investigating officers are now appealing for information from the public.
Gloucestershire Police said: "Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, but who has not spoken to officers, to come forward. They would also like to speak to anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage which they believe to be relevant.
