I've never understood the appeal of female protagonist games tbh. I don't really have anything against them, unless they are particularly loaded with feminist propaganda, it's more that I can't identify with the protagonist at all.

Most male protagonists are Chads most of the time anyway and I can identify just as little with a Chad as with a woman. Same thing to me.

Like for example Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher, Blazkowicz from Wolfenstein or Rico from Just Cause. They are all Chads, point of the game is not to identify with the protagonist but just to have fun.

I agree entirely, I never play games with predetermined Chad protagonists for that reason as well, unless the focus of the game is on combat/action (like Halo or Doom) and not roleplaying or story. Most of the games I play have character customization or they have a faceless protagonist.
