The quality of their locations (at least in my area I’ve noticed) is inconsistent.
One of them I rarely ever go to (because the traffic is so bad ie its located on a section of road between Meijer and Walmart as well a gas station I believe) has absolutely excellent tasting food and drinks 99.9% of the time and so I consider it the best McDonalds in Alpena followed probably by the one next to the hospital on Chisholm Street (I think it is?) and this McDonalds was rebuilt from the ground up I think both because the original building was getting too old but also because this location is basically within walking distance of the hospital and is always packed with customers so IIRC they put in a second drive through there as a result.
Yeah though I believe it’s food quality is great 90% of the time from the very few times I’ve eaten there since the remodeling but it also has horrible traffic conditions pretty much all day and most of the night as well once again due to its proximity to the hospital etc, etc.
So the one I end up going to all the time located on US 23 the Bay Area also has shit traffic conditions but a wider road and more places to turn to or turn off of and merge onto the main drag from ie the road home in order to help mitigate the shitty traffic conditions hence once again why I end up going here for my goy slop 99.9% of the time instead of the locations with generally superior tasting McDonalds Franken-food goy slop, etc.
I digress however.
Unfortunately this locations food is hit or miss ie usually the fries are cold or stale or just not all that flavorful and tasty in general, the drinks ie my beloved Coke can be good but still off tasting at times and the sandwiches ie burgers and such can be serviceable in that they’ll be good enough and sate your hunger of course but be much like the fries at times which is to say stale tasting, cold or lukewarm and underwhelming in flavor.
Don’t get me wrong though sometimes this McDonalds knocks it out of the park in quality on all fronts but yeah I’d say they or rather their overall food quality and service I’d rate at a solid 75% which I’d say is probably well below average for them both locally and nationally.
I really wish this particular McDonalds location would step it up since based on traffic conditions it’s basically the one I usually go to but oh well.
