Because the modern times depresses me so much I have become fixated with the past and nostalgia for being a kid because I was happier then. It is to the point that I'd rather just pretend my childhood never ended than live in the current day. I consume like three or four hours a day of video games and Youtube videos based on old shit from over twenty years ago. It goes beyond the nostalgia that many retro enthusiasts enjoy and into obsessive Peter Pan syndrome territory.
