Main reason why living in a small town is ropefuel

Not so much that major retailers and airports are far away
And I don't give a fuck about political leanings (most people here are conservative)
I could tolerate the shitty restaurants, shitty groceries choices, and country music

I could deal with all of that...but what makes living here ropefuel is how young people marry and have kids. Foids my age (mid 30s range) are already married with more than one kid. There are guys my age that have teen kids. That constant reminder sucks.

(For those of you wondering, I'm here for work, and my salary stretches pretty well here)

I live in a town that is small but is a road many others take, i don't have any of the few pros like living in peace because of that, there will always be retards driving loudly. I live in the suburbs outside a major American city

I also have gone to College in a town which is smaller than my own by default

I've met people here form small towns, and I've noticed quite a few of them do tend to get married much younger & more frequently

Part of me has wished I could have grown up in one, but I feel it might have stunted me much more so than I already am.
