For the past few weeks I've set my alarm an hour or so before I have to get up for class. The few moments I am in that half-awake/half-asleep state to turn off the alarm begins the only pleasurable part of my life: my lucid dreams.
My dreams go like this: I have a girlfriend, she is 17 and has green eyes, brown hair, and is 100 lbs and 5'1 (shorter than me). She is giggly and playful but nervous to be around me because she's afraid of losing control and going too far and she wants to stay a virgin until marriage. She lies to her parents and says she is at a study group to spend time with me. The dreams are so vivid and feel so real, I almost feel like she is lying in bed next to me and I can feel the rise and fall of her chest as she breathes and the softness of her skin.
Over the summer I would sleep 18 or more hours a day just to enjoy my dreams. The semester just started but I've already been late twice because of these dreams.
Yes I know this is extreme and pathetic cope. But if not for dreams I honestly do not know why I wouldn't just rope...... Has this happened to anyone else? What do you think are the negative consequences?
