Yeah but that doesn't mean it's a direct cause of being low IQ. My immediate guess would be that low IQ ruins one's capacity for success, which in turn increases suicide risk, mostly for men. Also lower emotional control isn't the same thing worse negative emotions.

I think what this proves is that being an undesirable failure at life is bad, which we already know, and that lower IQ increases the likelihood of that happening. The only thing which makes higher IQ bad is a greater capacity to be tormented by your own brain, but that doesn't matter so much if you're living a successful life. The issue is that the latter doesn't apply to most here.

Copppppe why would your own brain torture you if you're High IQ surely you would be able to have control over your faculties what with you being high iq and all wouldn't being tortured by your brain be a low iq issue

Not you personally the people who claim higher iq people have more depression and suicidality. Yet the stats show lower iq people sui more. Its evidence that IQ is pseudoscience there's way too many things it doesn't account for
