I'm curious why people don't understand that love from first sight isn't something spiritual and elegant, but just craving for good genetics. It's obvious that you can't see personality in a second, so that means you're in love with looks

It's not only based on basal instinct for good genes (symmetry, healthy skin, good posture, which practically are all necessary) but also by ideals promoted by society or personal experience which results in people following learned preconceptions of what an ideal mate looks like, so take a selection of 10/10 guys and the girl will go for the one who most resembles some celebrity she fawns over, or some guy she had a crush on, possibly even if he's only 9/10. It's like how females obsess over fashion - but instead of styles of clothes it's styles of men.
