The feelings of lust are arguably equal or in some cases stronger for women, but love isn't. Countless documented historical accounts and modern infidelity horror stories are a testament to the inherently whorish nature of women. The moment a flirtatious male who is sufficiently stronger characteristically appears, emotional affairs begin and then transition to full blown affairs if the opportunity is available. If they aren't able to have a full blown affair due to too much perceived risk, they will begin imagining that they're having sex with them while they're with you, and when their using sex toys on the side.
You can often even see this happen when women discuss A-list celebrities - men who they haven't even met - with their girlfriends, and about how they'd straddle Chris Hemsworth at the first opportunity.
In other words, the only reason why the already ridiculously high affair rate isn't higher is because of lack of opportunity.
Now going back to the title, why are men generally more faithful then women? It's because we're inclined by nature to be more loyal so we can protect the woman and raise (hopefully what is our) offspring with the security we provide. Why do some of them become doormats at the sight of tits, despite their every other interaction indicating they'd act differently? It's because we're wired by nature to have our personalities overwritten when opportunities related to sex and procreation present themselves. Love and lust both unfold in our minds, making us both emotionally attached and desiring of the pleasure sex can provide.
Women are wired differently. They're designed by nature to cling to the man who has closer to what they perceive as ideal characteristics and security, while also desiring the pleasure of sex. Because they can keep pumping out kids, by nature, their emotional attachment isn't as fixed. In order for them to be fully loyal their partner either has to constantly demonstrate superiority over other men, or receive enough pressure from society (like the consequence of severe punishments like reeducation camps) and from strict training.
Men entertaining and supporting the notion that women are equal to us is emasculating, and the very reason why they aren't loyal in the first place.
