Some time ago I was a loose ball of lard (similar to hay bales in the movies), and with just the use (/ abuse) of guarana I dropped 15kg in two weeks, both because I didn't eat (guaranine + caffeine ) and the fat-burning effect of the caffeine itself. The price to pay? Panic attacks, depersonalization, anorexia, depression, anemia. But I still managed to lose weight.
Now with the covid period, the gyms closed and my neet in "off" I'm gaining weight, and I have already gained 7kg in a few weeks. I'm afraid of getting fat again, but my recent quitting doesn't help with the diet (nervous hunger).
I would like to use guarana again, but I fear going back to the hospital for a caffeine overdose.
Do you have alternatives that are equally valid but less harmful? I had thought of yerba mate or ephedra
