Thanks. I actually have a good bit of car knowledge, but timing chains and distributor setups are beyond what I'm gonna mess with myself. Also, another thing him and me did was we maintained our cabin together, and the 1.5 acre yard. We had 3 riding mowers to cut the grass, that way we each used one, and the other was a spare. I'm actually very skilled at working on them, and have done many major repairs myself. Since it's just me and my mother now, she helps a little out there. Last time, I fixed 2 of the mowers after minor things went wrong, and she accidentally broke one, lol. I told her not to take it in the neighbor's yard because it's unnecessary and the grass there is too high for it, but she didn't listen, and broke it. I already did one cutting pass over there with my better mower because it looks nicer that way, but you don't need to do any more than one. As I finished up cutting the hill, I saw her over there and told her to get out of there because it's not necessary, but she couldn't hear me. I then parked my machine and ran over there, but was too late and the blades got jammed form the high grass and melted the belt. What happened was the discharge chute was blocked by the next row of grass, and the blades jammed. That's why you need to have a smart cutting pattern to avoid this. That's the first time a mower ever got broken form operator error. I ordered a new belt for it and will install it in the next few weeks. Only having one working mower there is bad because you're screwed if it breaks. I really miss my dad for this stuff, but at least I can manage.
