Pilot suicide: nothing new on the horizon.

As the airline industry is growing very fast, screening is more lenient and requirements tend to be put aside. Inceldom is growing, and pilots with mental issues are growing. Unfortunately, there might be more of these suicide in the future, and direct murder of hundreds of passengers.

You might have read on my thread, cockpits are already equipped with almost unpenetrable doors to "protect it from illegal intruders" because of 9/11, the aviation authorities have decided after the Germanwings Flight 9525 that the cockpit security is more important than to prevent suicidal-mass murderers pilots or to help with incapacitated aircrew, and recently US authorities ordered to reinforce it further with an airlock and delayed locking in all passenger aircraft. There is nothing you can do if a pilot decides to lock himself and crash the plane.

It used to be, not so much anymore. Its not the golden era of travel because now there are hundreds of airlines cramming passengers on cheap budget flights. Pilots have to go through a gruelling and expensive course of training, and often spend a decade working before they have paid it all off.
