looks less depressive. although that doesn't negate the disadvantages of housing like this: loud neighbors, filthy scum which turns their apartment into cesspit and everyone gets cockroaches because of it or local pest control company puts cockroaches into hall so residents would call for their services (very common practice in the last 5 years)
