It really is, makes you crazy if you live completely alone (no family, no gf, no friends etc.) for a long time.
I live with my parents and a few months ago I was left alone in the house for about 9 days. The first 1-2 days were quite good, I could cope well, but after the second day it was brutal. The complete silence of the house was both nice and miserable at the same time.

I disagree, living alone is great but you need to cut off your economic dependency on your parents entirely. Otherwise they still have you by the balls and you didn't do anything.
I can't stand my parents, especially my mother bitching about anything and everything.
Living alone while on NEETbux would be nice. Worrying about paying bills with my shitty minimum wage job would be a nightmare.
I find it liberating tbh. I love my parents but I don't miss living with them. I have a lot of freedom and privacy now.

I like being alone thesedays, but I'm 33. I probably would have enjoyed it far less in my early 20s. Wouldn't have it any other way now though.

I live with my parents. Never experienced living completely alone. I don't talk with anyone other than my parents. Even that i barely do even though we live in the same house. I would like to experience living absolutely alone. Maybe i might like it.

I know man i personally Deal with it myself. When distractions fail to ellude the mind. When this happens i walk in my backyard in circles trying to daydream my way OUT of it.
