If you want a real answer, diet + working out. Eat something rich in protein like eggs. Do dumbbell curls so you can work up to a push up. If you dont have dumbbells or hate the gym, use bags of sand, dirt, bricks, or anything sitting around the house that isn’t unwieldy

I dont have a particular diet in mind, really just try to focus on eating healthy foods. Back when i gymmaxxed, i would eat eggs, ground beef, oikos yogurt, romaine, and lots of fruits and vegetables. I have never tried protein shakes so i cant speak to how helpful they would be. My rule of thumb was to eat around 2000 calories a day. Typically id eat eggs in the morning, maybe a sandwich for lunch, make something with the ground beef, and then id eat yogurt or salad after. I also used to eat these Healthy Choice dinners that weren’t too bad. You can still eat junk food, try to keep it to once or twice a week.
As for how long it would take to pay off and see results, i think that is mostly up to genetics. If you work out every other day, you should get to the point where you can do a pushup in a few months. Thats how long it took me anyway

Buy a dip station for assistance. Do bent leg body rows and push ups until you build strength to do regular pull ups and push ups.

You need to strengthen your arms and your back. Do pushups everyday. Slowly overload. It's not that tough. Within 30 days you'll be able to do atleast 45 pushups.

I do 10 pushups every day in morning but i can do 100 in one serie. I just do less to not lose motivation and give up
