You're going to end up gouging the middle class into oblivion. It might get bad enough that people might actually leave the country, and then all you've left with are the slave class and the rich upper-class who will demand something in return from the former. UBI recipients will probably then be assigned jobs until automation fully replaces them and fully sustains the majority labor force of certain industries. Then the leeches won't be able to afford making babies and will start lowering in number, but not too low because you'll still need some slaves.
It's a dystopia in the making.

They should care. UBI might legally compel them into some kind of labor, if they're unemployed, which NEETs technically are. Think of all of the shitty job postings that are constantly left up. If you register for UBI, it's easily foreseeable to imagine a scenario where you sign some sort of agreement before being issued your UBIbuxx that acts as a kind of labor draft (JFL, they might even call it that).
I can definitely see this happening. I guess what I meant was it wouldn't happen fast enough for it to concern them in present. The ongoing stability of society is more of a normie concern.

I was going to say that but thought it would be over the top. I was thinking if you told a NEET/incel who is committed to LDAR that he has to slave for his coins, there has to be some high chance he would just rope.
