Life seemed simpler in olden days. And no, I don’t mean easier.

No, life wasn’t exactly easier in olden days. But life was much simpler to understand and make sense of.

There was no long-distance connections to have any opportunity to be influenced by or influence anyone from far away. Everyone, for the most part, just stuck to their own vicinity.

Earning money through the internet (from home) also wasn’t an option to make a living either. If you brought that idea up, you’d be told you were living in a fantasy. It made sense that by simply improving one’s manly features, as a man you could easily make a living, whether by becoming a construction worker, explorer, sailor, farmer, etc. Those jobs still exist today, but they aren’t the most well-paying anymore.

Also, evolution wasn’t proven nor were many laws of physics which now explain events and phenomenon that were once seen as undeniable proof of the supernatural. It still made sense to believe in religious beliefs or superstitious ones that now just seem completely absurd to believe in today.

Those days will never come back. The current state of affairs have made everything worse than it ever was, especially the rise of the Internet.

I'd disagree human being never had to work this many hours to just survive in other time periods.

Quality of life was better too because they didn't have micro plastics, bug meat etc

Maybe they were easier? Romans spent less time working than modern humans. They also had more holidays.

Can't buy a slave? Just rape a women
Don't want to live in shitty cold country? Go to Mediterranean and there's free land everywhere. No need to buy land to make a house on.
Life was easier back then

Gosh i hate civilization and modern world.

Seems as if you're too lazy to use Google. Are you ethnic?
Romans worked 6 hours per day on average. Compare this to the modern 8.
Roman holidays varied a lot depending on the Emperor, but it usually was above 100 days off per year. During the reign of Marcus Aurelius, they had 135 work-free holidays. America only has 10 federal holidays.

Yes. You actually get it. Late nineteenth- to early twentieth-century Britain was a very moral and decent place actually—very low crime rates, low infanticide, declining but still higher birth rate than today, many people were religious and believed in supernatural things, low drug abuse, etc.
