They think that the way people treat them or the relationships they're able to have are because they are so cool or because they have some great, esoteric part of their being. However, everything in life is so superficial. Everyone's life experiences are so different. People like to take credit for their good attributes, but in the end it seems they were rather inevitable given their upbringing and genetics.
