It's really nothing to fret over imo. Yeah, there's frats but it's just a continuation of high school and the women start to visibly age. People trot out the trope "it gets better", well, that's obviously BS. I think it doesn't really get worse (life gets worse but that's aging and societal expectations). We missed the fun times but they didn't last as long as we thought.

Yeah, it never gets better. Just no success stories, not a single one. You was unloved/unpopular in high school, you remain the same later in life.

Wow, I am just about to finish high school, I literally dont talk with noone, I am pretty much alone, but I though things would get better after finishing it.
It seems that my last hopes are over now

We missed the fun times

I think i missed everything that makes a human life worth, tbh. If these years were supposed to be the best ones, im obviously going to kill me before aging.

Life is a cruel joke for us and nothing more

it does get better, just not in the way they make you think of

like, in high school you can be relentlessly bullied and have no way of escaping. after high school you can escape and just go where there are no bullies. in that sense it does get better.

but when it comes to being a friendless virgin loser? no that doesnt get better. if you were an incel at HS graduation then you will in all likelihood remain an incel throughout college.
in fact, in this sense it often actually gets worse because of how much everything caters to extroverts now. introverts in high school often at least get a little social interaction from being forced into a place where they have dozens of peers around all the time. when that is no longer the case, natural introverts often lose what little social circle they had, and fail to enter any new ones.

Life is a continuation of HS.

Life after death

I'm starting to accept my fate as a quarter of my life is gone. I sort of miss HS in a weird way because it was a simpler time, but also I'm glad its over with. I always hated compulsory education. When I was in 5th grade I wanted to be in 6th grade etc, I was never happy in my current place. Obviously looking back I wish I had cherished some of those times more, the care free bike rides and what not. I was bullied though, and there were a lot of bad times too.

Things overall have improved for me since HS.
