I’m currently reading the Baki manga series and it’s really good. The genres are martial arts, violence, shounen. The story is pretty cheesy but the fights are brutal and epic. They adapted the first manga into an anime that was released in early 2000s, and the second manga (that I’m reading) got an anime it released two days ago for Japan but everywere else in October.
The story in the first manga is about Baki who trains as a grappler
fighting in an underground ring where there are no rules. The second manga is about 5 death row convicts escaping prison and going to this underground ring to face 5 of the strongest people (including Baki) it then takes place all over Tokyo with them fighting 24/7 everywhere.
