(Post meant for yesterday)
I finally fully understood tall people's legroom issue; I had a section of the desk with more legroom that my leg used to go under until I got taller. I put my legs under that place for legroom because I sometimes hit my knee there. I did it for a while. My legs hurt a bit as I could lift the entire desk from trying to sit upright, and I stopped.
Today, I woke with my right Achilles hurting so bad I was nearly limping when trying to walk with around 6 hours of sleep, so I went back to sleep until about 8 hours. I can finally walk now; only a section of my knee from being hit by the desk hurt.
Here are some points, I was using ankle weights before yesterday and was biking hourly for mostly a week, but there were no significant pains; I have excellent pain tolerance, like I could be bleeding from somewhere and not even notice it much later. I did have similar pain, but it was lower leg pain when I extended my legs under that place to sit properly where I could somewhat lift the desk with my leg, and it wasn't something I had done yesterday since I found it annoying to do any work in the form.
The irony is that my proportion, I feel, is horrible; my inseam is notable at 29 inches when I measured it multiple times, and it is various inches shorter than average for someone my height; I feel like some people much shorter than me have longer legs, and I notice that if some guys' torsos were comparable to mine, they would be taller.
You know what, I still would choose to get taller; I think the legroom complaint is somewhat null to all the benefits of being taller, like getting more respect from the halo effect, and I would choose to be taller even if I had a limp every day.
I rarely see one of the people complaining about legroom saying they would want to be shorter to not deal with the issue, lol.
