Gaming Legion or NCR?

Just got New Vegas and am kind of a tard, so it took me a while to get Xander Root and I don't know much. Should I side with the Legion or the NCR? The Legion has a reputation for being the based and uncucked side but the foid in the bar calls them Roman costume LARPing bandits, what's so good about the NCR?

There are a lot more NCR traders so I would recommend NCR for your first playthrough. You can still help the legion out, just don't become vilified if you want to keep using NCR hubs.

If you dont upgrade the securitron army, divert power from helios one to euclid's c-finder and mend an alliance with BoS, then no. And the other choices you are not leading anything anyway, under CL you will be led by Caesar/Lanius, NCR - Presidents or and if you choose mr House, which is obvious, the one calling the shots will be himself.
