There was a time when curries didn't give as much cringe and were more based
This can be seen in the story of Krishna and PUTANA (PUTA)
An orc-demon that tried to kill him
Here is the legend:
Krishna kills that PUTA
This can be seen in the story of Krishna and PUTANA (PUTA)
An orc-demon that tried to kill him
Here is the legend:
Putaná was hired by the evil king Kamsa to kill his nephew, Krishna, who was a few months old baby. The gigantic demon took human form to pose as a wet nurse and poison the baby god. To do this he spread poison on their breasts. But when Krishna sucked from her breast, he not only took the mother's milk and the poison, but also the soul of the demon. She resumed her original gigantic form and fell to the ground kicking and screaming. His body was so large that it crushed one of the forests of Vrindavan (the pastoral village of Krishna) and cremating her took several days.
According to Rupá Gosuami (one of the Six Gosuami of Vrindavan, from the 16th century), because Krishna accepted the milk from her breast, Putaná - who should have been reincarnated in some hell to atone for her sins - not only did not reincarnate further (and achieved moksa, liberation from the cycle of samsara) but reached the spiritual world, on God's most intimate planet: Goloka Vrindavan, with the status of eternal nurse of Krishna, whom she experiences exclusively as a baby.
