In the article, the key word is: Compensation. Compensation. Compensation, as in "I'm ugly, so I'll just get as much money as I can (I though women weren't gold-diggers?!) and betabux for a woman!".
Nowhere in here does it mention the concept, duration, strength or even TYPE (betabux =parasitism, true love = mutualism) of love present in here. they only mention if a relationship exists or not.
They don't even mention they the requirements for each relationship type! (Alpafux = good genes, while Betabux = $$$ and '''''pewsownawity!!!11!!''''').
All this research tells me is that for Alphafux, women want FACE, and for Betabux, women want $$$ and '''''pewsownawity!!!11!!'''''. In both case, a relationship is established, but their types, love dedicated, duration, and intents are all VERY different. Both of the requirements are complex and vast, but the real CONTENT of those relationships are vastly different!

Take the most currently accepted method of taxonomic classification (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxonomic_rank for more details). Two animals may of the same genus, but if they aren't of the same species, they cannot interbreed and produce healthy offspring. That's why the Panthera Leo and Panthera Tigris are considered different species but are of the same genus! Just like this, Alphafux, Betabux, and True Love are all 'relationships' at a quick glance, but when we get into the specifics, they are of totally different points of existence!
