Based Kadyrov
A new initiative for more respect on the Internet comes from Chechnya: President Ramzan Kadyrov wants the death penalty for insults on the Web. For mild cases: break fingers, tear out tongue.
The president of the Russian republic of Chechnya is already known for not being very tender and meek. His latest suggestion on online insults could confirm this image: In a conference on promoting small and medium-sized businesses in Moscow, Ramzan Kadyrov said that "you must break all the laws of the world" to prevent offensive comments online. Quote from his speech: "If we do not stop them by killing, imprisoning, frightening those who violate unity among people by spreading rumors and discord, nothing will happen."
"Traitors and Verpetzer stop"
Anyone who offends others on Facebook or other social media platforms should be threatened with the death penalty, according to Kadyrov's idea. For other, lighter cases, the "irreverent Internet users" should break their fingers or rip their tongues out. Kadyrov literally says, "Those who respect the law, the constitution and democracy are spared, the rest are crooks, traitors, vergers and schizophrenics of all kinds. We have to stop them."
Murder case in Vienna
Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov has been president of the Russian republic of Chechnya since May 2007. One of his bodyguards from his bodyguard, Umar Israilov, wanted to unpack Kadyrov and his terror regime and was killed on 13 January 2009 on the street in Vienna-Floridsdorf. The protection of the Constitution (the BVT) has previously ignored Israilov's request for personal protection. In the trial against the executing perpetrators in June 2011, the executive confirmed for the first time that the order had come from Kadyrov.
Kadyrov is also accused by critics of wanting to build "an Islamist despotism" in Chechnya and to violate human rights.
