I've cold approached hundreds of girls in bars or clubs and no one's ever called security on me or given me significant shit about it besides bad attitudes from most of the women as expected.

At least with cold approach they are forced to acknowledge you (unlike online where you are just ignored) and you have a CHANCE to demonstrate personality if you have one.
