I tried. I really did. I tried to moneymaxx by getting a good-paying job. I saw an opening for a door to door sales position where, if I could get decent at it, I could be making 6 figures within a year. I didn't even have to sell the shit myself, just set people up with appointments for our actual sales people to come by. I do this for months, going from door to door every day knocking on the doors of random strangers even in the freezing snow and pouring rain, getting the cops called on me about once a month. I never got a single sale. Then some blond chad comes along a while after me, as soon as he starts he's getting sales hand over fist. You might think: well maybe he just had a better pitch? nope. My manager literally had me do my pitch for practice purposes and told me he got actual chills from my pitch and couldn't recommend any improvements.
Naturally the blond chad who started after me quickly gets bumped up to a six-figure position. My manager tells me if I can't make any sales then he'll have to fire me so I just say fuck it and quit.
