Anyone else get this cowardly bullshit? My dad tells me this every time I leave the house to go to a bar or club and has used the same line for over ten years:-

"Just enjoy yourself and have a good time".

"It will happen when you least expect it".

"Don't pay attention to who girls are looking at, they are nobody to you and you are nobody to them".

"You think of yourself as a piece of shit. You need to like yourself before somebody else can like you"

By the way, the fucking idiot coward who's been telling me these lies my whole life, met and got with my mum at age fucking 17. I can't even remember being seventeen and have had over a decade of pain, loneliness and nothingness since then yet this guy who's been with this same woman his whole life can somehow offer advice and insight on this?

The problem with all of the above lines is that even if you do them it still doesn't work, I've tried them and women have still thrown themselves at my friends who look good enough and the men around me.

In theory that's probably the best route, would one rather spends time brooding in misery their whole life over women who ruined them, or spend time enjoying the few things that make life worth it, and maybe even get payback on them. Because looking back after living a long life, it would probably be saddening to realize they chose misery, when they could at least enjoy a few simple pleasures.
