What's really crazy is that cs;go is one of if not the longest-running fps with actual longevity. No other game has done it as long as counter strike has and no one has been able to hold a candle to the number of people that play it, per day, either. Recently cs:go reached its highest concurrent player count ever over its decade-long life. This makes sense if you take into account that CS2 is coming out this summer.
The reason im saying all of this is that this game is updating virtually everything graphically + cosmetically, yet the game is functionally to stay the same sans a few tweaks here and there. This stands to say that everyone's paid-for skins are about to get a free graphical boost or (on the nightmare-ish flip side) a downgrade.
As you said before this clown game has its own market being driven by the people and all. Skins created by modders in the workshop, voted on by the players and added into the game to be sold for actual real-life cash. Since CS2 is coming with this free potential upgrade, the market is in complete chaos. Skin prices are going way way WAY up, insanely fast. Some cs YouTubers have predicted with as far as I know 0 evidence that one's inventory could double or triple in value. we really live in crazy times where video games can make people millions but it's a reality. I wish I knew how to capitalize on it. I am trying my best to now though. This knife I bought is my investment into the future of cs2.

The deagle is a unique pistol in the game so lots of players struggle. Put simply, it functions best as a bolt-action rifle or shotgun.
The deagle functions similarly to a bolt-action rifle. High damage, high accuracy, instant kill headshot, and a low effective rate of fire outside point blank. On defense, hold an angle and wait. On offense, jiggle peek corners. If you're good at hitting headshots, even rifles will have trouble contesting you. This playstyle requires skill though.
The deagle also works as a shotgun. Just hold an angle at point blank and unload your entire magazine into the unfortunate soul. This playstyle doesn't require much skill but it's still super effective because you're negating the deagles high recoil by being so close that every shot still hits anyway.

Yeah that's about right for mid-range. Also learn how to counter-strafe to make it harder to hit you. Counter-strafing is extremely effective on the deagle.
