I used crutches and a wheelchair when I was 6-12. As young as I was I still noticed that people lost all their sympathy when they find out I used mobility aids for the excruciating pain when I walk and not because my legs didn't work.
Maybe if you're born a chad and lose both your legs to an alligator you'll pull some foids.
