It actually states that many men who are unattractive beyond belief will get women of their own league and even a bit above their league (average looking women), because they (women) can take advantage of their attachment to them. There's no way in hell said ugly guy in a relationship with an average looking woman will not bow to her every need. And he will pretty much never cheat. I don't think you can be "unattractive beyond belief" and still be oofy doofy. Oofy doofies are usually low tier normies looks wise. No woman wants a bf who physically disgusts her.
What makes an oofy doofy are other factors, like NTness and low IQ.

I agree that most Oofy Doofies usually aren't actually terribly ugly, but I've actually seen cases of men 3-2/10 who managed to get into relationships with average looking women (or a little below average), purely because these women had Chad boyfriends who cheated on them, so they got with a very ugly man in order to not experience getting cheated on and to experience having basically a slave.
That's still cucked betabuxxing, though, and comes after a foid has ridden the proverbial carousel; she wants the power in order to basically just cheat with Chad and offer no benefit at all to the male, which is far from a very viable strategy for "ascension" as so many claim...

I didn't say this works will all females, but it does happen to quite a few of them.
