5th part is when the series went off the deep end for me. Too wierd and a bit too depressing, specially after the 3rd and 4th parts were so cheerful. I also just can't get over what he did to Polnareff. Was that necessary?

I also hated how the only way they could beat King Crimson was give Giorno a deus ex machina stand. Jotaro getting time stop to beat Dio was already cheap enough, but it's fun to theorize that Star Platinum could alwatys top time, Jotaro just didn't know about it (there's some stuff Star Platinum manages to do through out the 3rd series that's hard to explain with his fast speed alone). Plus there was the whole thing of Dio being linked with Jonathan's family line, it's easy to let it slide.

But Gold Experience Requiem? The whole reason stand fights are fun is because it's about trying to figure out what they can do and use clever ways to beat them. Instead at the end Giorno beats King Crimson by getting a stand with an "i win" button. Felt really stupid to me. Metallica almost beat King Crimson himself there was no reason to give Giorno a broken stand. Hell, even Polnareff almost got King Crimson with his blood drip trick.

Like i said, i like to think Star Platinum could always stop time Jotaro just never noticed. Like in the beginning when Jotaro is in prison, how could Star Platinum get all those objects inside the jail? Or when Jotaro tricks D'arby by making his drink and cigarette appear out of nowhere. No matter how fast Star Platinum was, there's no way D'arby wouldn't have noticed. Stuff like that.

This is basically fan fiction at this point but since it was Dio's awakening that resulted in Jotaro's stand appearing (as well as that of his mother and grandfather), it is possible to theorize that DIo's life force was linked with the Jostar bloodline and that Jotaro got his stand from Dio in more ways than one.

As for Jotaro ending Kira, i sort of liked that. Jotaro could have ended basically every single stand in the whole of part four, including Kira before he gets his time ability. Akari had to find ways to keep Jotaro out of the way or make his time stop less useful (by having others around him screw up, like Josuke with the rats, and Koichi during the Sheer Heart Attack fight) but eventually he couldn't just ignore the fact he was there, or it would have just looked stupid.

I also liked that Kira had a "normal" stand, and got his face beaten more than once. It made his character interesting. He wasn't a super villian, he was just some random psycho that wanted to be left alone.

BTW, when you are done with the fifth part and you are wondering what the hell it is that King Crimson actually does don't worry about it, because nobody knows. Not even Araki probably, kek.

People say this unorincally but i think it's just the Japanese obsession for aesthetics getting out of hand. I don't think Araki is consciously being teh gay. Japanese society is not as obessed with homos as the west is.

Asians are basically real life elves.

Don't forget also that much of their culture today is mostly borrowed from the west, and all the wierd dresses Araki uses are basically copies of the kind of crap people used to wear in the 80s. Just google Prince or David Bowie and JoJo for instance. Lot's of modern high fashion also ended up in his style. It doesn't make sense for us because nobody is dressed like Prince in real life but for the Japanese it is all strange and exotic so they don't look at it like we do.

A good example is the names of the characters in part five, which are completely absurd for anyone who understands Italian but they sound "exotic" to a Japanese reader so Araki rolled with it.

None of it has anything to do with homosexuality. People just think it is because they want to virtue signal about LGBTQ crap. In real life Araki is married and has two daugthers.
