In my country we have a mandatory test of fitness and mental health once you turn 18 to test how eligible you are for military service, my grade means that I can only be forced to serve during wartime.

I was considering it back then and I'm so fucking glad I didn't. One guy I knew was in the Navy died in some drill they were doing off the coast. They still do not give the family any details of what exactly happened and what went wrong.
i never encouraged it. just wanted to know if anyone was having the same thing on their mind.
